South Simcoe Minor Hockey Association

The Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) has introduced a new player movement policy that will allow fully open borders for players U10 and above starting next season. This significant change offers families choice in where they register their players, and we want to hear how our members feel about it.

The South Simcoe Minor Hockey Association (SSMHA) would like to inform our membership of the recently announced Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) Player Movement Policy. This initiative aims to provide opportunities for player development while maintaining fairness and consistency across all OHF member associations.

November 29th to December 1st the U13A South Simcoe Storm team participated in the CCM Nations Cup tournament in Detroit.

Congratulations to the South Simcoe U11AA Storm Team for going undefeated in the Pittsburgh Fall Classic Tournament this weekend Oct 25-27th. A weekend filled with fun, team work and they came home as Champions with a final 7-2 game!
