South Simcoe wins Mary Parkinson Early Bird Tournament
The South Simcoe U14A team had an outstanding performance at the Mary Parkinson Early Bird Tournament, battling through six games to finish with a strong record of four wins, one tie, and just one loss. Their hard work and determination carried them all the way to the championship game against the Stouffville Clippers, where the action was intense from start to finish.

After a back-and-forth battle, the game headed into 3-on-3 overtime, keeping fans on the edge of their seats. With just 45 seconds remaining, Evan Hendery buried the game-winning goal to secure the championship for South Simcoe. The weekend showcased not only the team’s skill and growth but also the strong bonds forming within the group—setting the stage for an exciting season ahead.
