South Simcoe Minor Hockey Apparel and Equipment Tender
The SSMHA is seeking proposals from vendors/suppliers for the provision of hockey apparel and equipment for the 2026–2029 season, beginning in September 2026. This agreement will cover a three-year term, during which the successful vendor will be the exclusive supplier authorized to use the SSMHA logo on apparel and equipment.

The chosen vendor will work with the SSMHA to supply items for our B, A & AA Rep teams including team apparel and gear. All proposals must be received by January 31st, 2026, to be considered. Final terms and conditions will be negotiated with the successful vendor.

Apparel and Equipment Requirements

All quoted items must include the following information:

  • Sublimated or crested logo
  • Colour options
  • Personalization options
  • Brand name
  • Cost per unit
  • Size availability (Youth XS to Adult XXXL)
  • Timeline from order to delivery
  • Product sample

 

Equipment Items

  1. Performance Socks
  2. Rep game Jerseys (Home and Away)
  3. Sponsor and player name bars
  4. Pant shells.

Apparel Items

  1. Hoodies
  2. Long-Sleeve Shirts & T-Shirts
  3. Toques (pompom and beanie styles)
  4. Ball Hats
  5. Wind Suits (jacket and pants)

Section 3: Additional Spirit Wear Items

The Storm brand is proudly worn by players, coaches, and fans. Vendors are encouraged to provide a comprehensive list of optional spirit wear items available throughout the season.

Also include:

  • Holiday and year-end gift options
  • Team fundraiser ideas
  • Description, pricing, size range, delivery timeline, and samples for each

Section 4: Promotional Sponsorship or Rebate Program Options

SSMHA will promote the selected vendor as its official supplier for team apparel and spirit wear. Vendors should outline:

  • Rebate programs for the association
  • Sponsorship opportunities, including logo placement, event branding, or shared marketing

Section 5: Vendor Ordering and Payment Process

Please describe your full ordering and payment process, including:

  1. Availability of an online store, local storefront, or both
  2. Who is responsible for preparing order forms and collecting payment
  3. Standard turnaround time from order to delivery
  4. Your return and exchange policy, including any limitations or exceptions

Section 6: Imposed Penalties

Vendors must outline any penalties or compensation if delivery timelines or service levels are not met as agreed upon. Penalty examples may include:

  • Discounted future orders
  • Refunds
  • Supply guarantees

Section 7: Event Participation

SSMHA hosts multiple events annually including:

  • Tournaments
  • Special events (e.g., holiday parties, photo days)
  • Arena activations

Please provide details on your availability and willingness to attend events, and identify:

  • Any fees or logistical requirements
  • Minimum staffing or display expectations
  • Options for on-site sales booths or giveaways
