BB (South Simcoe Minor Hockey Association)

Dear Users, Please be advised that the Stroud Innisfil Community Centre (Stroud Arena and Banquet Hall) will remain closed until further notice. A professional engineer has been on site and has indicated that additional assessment is needed on the 2nd floor to determine the necessary repairs on the arena and banquet hall side of the facility.

The U15 AA, A, and BB teams are overjoyed with the generous contributions to their Holiday Cheer Drive from our community, family, and friends. Everyone came together for a fantastic night filled with hockey and Christmas spirit. A huge shout-out to our competitors for going above and beyond with their contributions. Great job, teams! 🎄🏒

Congratulations to our U16BB team for winning the Little NHL Tournament in Welland this weekend! The players represented South Simcoe with outstanding effort, teamwork, and true sportsmanship from start to finish. Their dedication on and off the ice was evident, and we are incredibly proud of their achievement. Well done, U16BB! 🏒🥇

Congratulations to U16BB on winning the South Simcoe Storm Classic Tournament. Battling through four games with a strong record 3-0-1.  Their final game, against another Storm team who didn’t allow a goal in the tournament until they played South Simcoe Storm. Thank you to the team for playing with grit, determination and perseverance for the OT win in the finals 🥇   

The centralization of all Vulnerable Sector Checks will be conducted by the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) for all Team Officials and Team Personnel for the 2024-25 season to: 1. ensure all screening is being done. 2. reduce number of screenings where individuals are changing and/or participating in  multiple Associations. 3. provide a safe hockey environment.
