Dear Users,
Please be advised that
the Stroud Innisfil Community Centre (Stroud Arena and Banquet Hall) will
remain closed until further notice.
During the Town’s regular
inspections of all facilities, it was noted that a wall adjacent
to the ice surface appeared out of alignment and was in need
of professional assessment.
A professional engineer has been on site and has indicated that additional assessment is needed on the 2nd floor to determine the necessary repairs on the arena and banquet hall side of the facility.
This assessment may take up to a week, after which a plan will be developed to outline the next steps. Confirmation has been received that the Stroud Branch of Innisfil IdeaLab & Library and Stroud Curling Club are unaffected and can safely re-open.
