🥈U10A Storm Win Silver in Montreal!
The U10A South Simcoe Storm travelled to Montreal to compete in the Can/Am Montreal Challenge Cup. 

The team opened the tournament with a big 7-1 win against the George Bell Titans of Toronto. The next morning the team’s performance was strong with 6-0 victory over the Rhode Island Saints. Their final game of the round robin Saturday evening was a challenge resulting in a loss to NGS. The game 3 loss secured their place as 2nd in the U11 division’s round robin which secured their spot in the gold medal game against NGS Sunday morning.

During the gold medal game the Storm scored first and only seconds into the first period. The teams battled back and forth and ended regulation time with a 2-2 tie. The first overtime period resulted in no goals. Our Storm moved into double overtime and NGS scored with just moments left, resulting in a silver finish for the U10A Storm. 

Coaching staff are proud of the determination, effort and sportsmanship demonstrated by the team!
