The South Simcoe Storm U10AA team competed in the Belleville Pre-season Tilt this past weekend Sept 20-Oct 1. What a weekend they had. They went 5-0 to win the championship. They played hard, worked hard but most of all had buckets full of fun, both on and off the ice. This was their first away tournament as the newly formed South Simcoe Storm, and new friendships, bonds and teamwork rewarded these players with 5 wins.
From dinners out, to taking in a Kingston Frontenac Game, pizza party, pool fun, cheering on their fellow U18AA team, and an amazing pirate park while the parents tailgated, all cemented the Storm Family Bond and Coach Rob even snuck in an opportunity to run plays while taking a shade break at the park. Big shout out to our very own sibling fan club who were there to cheer them on every game. Looking forward to an amazing season ahead and watching these players Storm into action.
