Mandatory Session on Dressing Room Cell Phone Policy, Team Calendar, U18 AA, AA, 2023-2024 (South Simcoe Minor Hockey Association)

Dear South Simcoe Minor Hockey Association Players,

I hope this message finds you well. As we continue our mission to create a safe and respectful environment for all our players, coaches, and volunteers, I would like to inform you about an upcoming mandatory session for U15, U16 and U18 on the importance of adhering to our Dressing Room Cell Phone Policy.

We believe that hockey should not only be about improving your skills on the ice but also about building character and respecting the values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. The use of cell phones in the dressing rooms has been a concern, and we want to ensure that everyone is aware of the reasons behind this policy.

The two sessions will be held on the following dates and locations:

1. Date: November 7

   Time: 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm

   Location: Bradford Leisure Centre, MPR East

2. Date: November 14

   Time: 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm

   Location: Lefroy – Morgan Russell Banquet Hall

We are pleased to have Dave from the Regional municipality of York joining us to shed light on the importance of this policy and discuss the potential consequences of not adhering to it. This is an excellent opportunity for you to ask questions, understand the rationale behind the policy, and engage in a meaningful discussion about its enforcement.

Please make every effort to attend one of these sessions, as it is crucial for all of us to be on the same page regarding this policy.
