Dear South Simcoe Minor Hockey, We wish to inform you of an important update regarding the leadership of our Association. After much consideration, Karrie Copelli has decided to step down from her role as President of South Simcoe Minor Hockey.   Karrie’s dedication and hard work have been pivotal in establishing and growing our Association. Her commitment has been instrumental in getting South Simcoe to where it is today. On behalf of the entire South Simcoe Minor Hockey community, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Karrie for her invaluable contributions and tireless efforts.  

Hello South Simcoe Storm families,   U18AA/A/BB tryouts are just around the corner. All 2007/08 are welcome to attend. Please note that although you are welcome to attend the first tryout date (U18 AA - Sept. 10, 2024), you are not required to attend AA tryouts if you only wish to attend A or below. All goalies are invited to a goalies only skate on September 9, 2024.

In recent days, there have been reports of scam emails circulating within our community, targeting members of the South Simcoe Minor Hockey Association. As your trusted organization, we want to ensure that you remain vigilant and informed about these fraudulent activities. Scammers often attempt to deceive individuals by posing as legitimate entities or organizations (SSMHA Board Members in our case), aiming to obtain sensitive information or financial gain. To help you identify and avoid falling victim to these scams, here are some quick tips:

South Simcoe Hockey Registration is now open for players, coaches and volunteers. Players must register in their home centre (Bradford or Innisfil).
